  • Clearer statement of services rendered (descriptions not just procedure codes)
  • Reduced claim turnaround time on reimbursement claims (mail time if nothing else).

Advantages for the claims adjudicators include:

  • Association provides "clout" or influence in industry/marketplace

  • More accurate claims submission (edit checking in the provider's office)
