 The Ace network works in the following manner: A patient visits his/her dentist or pharmacist and identifies themselves as having insurance coverage through one of the ACE member companies. The dentist or pharmacist can then access the network through their own personal computer system, transmit the claim (or pre-approval) to the insurer, and, in a matter of seconds, receive a response which verifies the patient's coverage and the acceptability of the claim.

ACE has a contract with NDCHealth, a Value-Added Network for the processing of claims. They provide a network infrastructure for electronic claims submission. NDCHealth can be contacted as follows:
